How the Chargers Can Keep Darren Sproles

Darren Sproles is an electrifying running back that is used in many areas for the Chargers. To be honest, I was always more excited to see him in the backfield rather than Ladainian Tomlinson over the past few years.

I feel he is not used effectively most of the time, but always is a threat every time he is on the field.

I am still confused and upset with how he was used so sparsely in last years playoff loss to the Jets.  It made no sense whatsoever to keep handing the ball to Tomlinson, who averaged a whopping 1.5 yards per carry.

On the other hand, the Chargers had Sproles, who was averaging 11 yards per carry. For some reason, unbeknownst to Charger fans, Norv Turner only called his number three times on the day.
