MLB-Leading Los Angeles Dodgers Fall Again to the Astros Friday Night
The National League-leading Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Houston Astros again on Friday, 8-1, as ace Chad Billingsley was knocked around and failed to get out of the second inning for the first time all season.
Where were the Dodgers bats against Roy Oswalt and the Astros? Did they forget they are the home team?
Or did they just decide to take off of work? They allowed Ivan Rodriguez to go 4-for-5 with a homer and two RBI, while Oswalt tossed his 18th career complete game to lead the Astros.
Oswalt (6-4) gave up one run on four hits with five strikeouts and has now won his last three decisions. The righty also moved to 6-0 against the NL West on the year.
