Come and listen to a story ‘bout a man named Jed,

A young college grad who tried to run the Gold and Red,

Had big dreams, like his Uncle Eddie,

But his team was far from problem-free.

Dismal that is, five years out of the playoffs.

In his very first year, the team was in despair,

People all said “Get Nolan out of there!”

So Jed sent him packin’, Gave the team to Coach Sing,

Yeah but still the Niners are no closer to a ring.

3-7 that is, last in the West.
