San Jose Sharks Acquire James Sheppard from Wild for 2013 Third-Round Pick

The Sharks and Wild are becoming best friends in the offseason. The teams have now made three trades this offseason. This time, it's forward James Sheppard going to San Jose for a third round pick in 2013, the Sharks announced Sunday.

First, the Sharks traded Devin Setoguchi for Brent Burns. Then, Dany Heatley for Martin Havlat. And now a future would-be prospect for Sheppard. The Sharks are looking to reap the rewards from Minnesota.

Sheppard is a 6'1" center weighing 205 pounds.
