The Sharks had a very productive offseason with a lot of trades, just about all of them with the Minnesota Wild.
They acquired some good offensive players by acquiring Martin Havlat, Michal Handzus and James Sheppard.
But the Sharks really bolstered up on defense. They were able to add Brent Burns, Jim Vandermeer and Colin White to their roster.
