Geren, Giambi, Cabrera, and Casilla All Play Huge Role in Loss
The Oakland A's in another game where you say to yourself "you've got to be kidding me" the coach and three players are responsible for not doing their jobs. Two were regular everyday players and the other was a relief pitcher.
The first player to be blamed is Jason Giambi for not doing his job at the plate. In the top of the fourth the A's could have at least gotten one run to make the game 3-2, but were not able to do. Specifically considering the fact that Holliday started the inning off with a hard hit double into the alley.
Giambi though looked pathetic at the plate again and eventually struck out leaving Holliday at second base. Kurt Suzuki then flew out softly to center field, and Ryan Sweeney ended the inning with a ground out.
