San Francisco Giants: Jonathan Sanchez Is Best Fifth-Starter Option in 2012

Without a doubt, one of the biggest questions facing the San Francisco Giants in 2012 will be determining who their fifth starter in the rotation will be. 

Shortstop, first base and the outfield are also positions in question for the Giants in 2012. But, for a team built around pitching, the fifth starter is very important.

At the top of the rotation, Lincecum, Cain and Bumgarner will all be back. And for the purposes of this article, we will assume that the Giants will bring back 34-year-old Ryan Vogelsong.
