NBA’s 50 Greatest Players: Revised
In October of 1996, commissioner David Stern announced the list of the fifty greatest NBA players to honor the 50th anniversary of the league. Kareem Abdul Jabbar - most accomplished player ever
Nate "Tiny" Archibald - great scoring point guard
Paul Arizin - one of game's first great players
Charles Barkley - MVP award winner; one of league's best rebounders
Rick Barry - great offensive player; led Warriors to title in early 70's
Elgin Baylor - amazing offensive player; first great athletic player in league
