Chargers vs. Seahawks: A Fan’s Perspective

The wide receiver position was the most interesting position of the night. A few players stepped up to the occasion, and a few disappointed us.

Rookie WR Charly Martin probably has secured his position on the 53-man roster. Martin led the team in receiving yards with five catches for 67 yards and had two special team tackles.

Third-year WR Legedu Naanee had an up and down night. He caught three balls for 30 yards and a touchdown. However, Volek and Whitehurst both threw perfect balls, which he dropped, to Naanee. If Naanee wants to stay in talented stable of wide outs he will have to step it up a bit.
