Sasha Vujacic Gets Cut From Slovenian National Team

Sasha "The Machine" Vujacic may have just won his first ring as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, but apparently that wasn't good enough for the Slovenia National Team.

According to the Slovenian Press Agency, Vujacic was cut from their roster right as the European 'Eurobasket' Championships are set to begin.  

There are reports that a sore knee may have hindered his play, but both Pau Gasol and Tony Parker have suffered injuries and both still remain on their national teams' rosters. And this is Slovenia, not France or Spain.

It was only one year ago that the Lakers signed shooting guard Sasha Vujacic to a three-year, $15 million contract after he became the the three point specialist they so badly desired.
