2010 NFL Draft: Chargers Move Up To Replace Recently Released L.T.
Giving their fourth, second, and first round picks to the Miami Dolphins, the Chargers have traded up.
They took RB Ryan Mathews with the 12th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft.
After releasing LaDainian Tomlinson in the offseason the Chargers certainly needed help at the running back position, and Mathews is probably the perfect fit for the role.
As a true power back and the best between-the-tackles running back available in the draft, Mathews should balance out the small, speedy, Darren Sproles perfectly. His addition creates a two headed monster ground game in San Diego once again.
