Dodgers’ Hong-Chih Kuo in All-Star Game; Injured Jason Heyward Out
I will put this one in the “I didn’t see this coming” category.
Los Angeles Dodgers’ LHP Hong-Chih Kuo has replaced Atlanta Braves OF Jason Heyward on the All-Star Game roster. Kuo has a 3-1 record with a 0.99 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, and 12 Holds.
While I understand that Kuo is having a superb year, how many setup guys does the NL need to take? They already have Arthur Rhodes and Evan Meek, and now they are adding Kuo? That is one too many in my opinion.
The NL will insert Milwaukee Brewers OF Corey Hart in Heyward’s place in the starting lineup.
