With a farm system that hasn't been well-regarded in years, the San Francisco Giants were hopeful that things would begin to head in a positive direction in 2014. But with top prospect Kyle Crick having walked more than a batter per inning thus far in his Double-A debut and top-hitting prospect Mac Williamson undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery, it's hard to be too optimistic.
