Giants Drop The Ball and The Game

Baseball is a simple game really. See the ball, hit the ball, catch the ball.

Well, maybe not so easy.

On Friday night, a full, golden moon shone bright over AT&T Park in San Francisco. Apparently, it was shining right on the Giants' dugout.

On a night when the Giants were trying to stay ahead of the Colorado Rockies in the wild card race as well as having a chance to gain ground on the rival Los Angeles Dodgers, who lost to the Atlanta Braves 9-5 in 12 innings, San Francisco had a forgettable night.

Coming into game one of the series against the Cincinnati Reds, the San Francisco Giants made 53 errors all year long. That is the seventh lowest amount in all of the Major Leagues.
