Giants Fans Express Much Concern over KNBR Radio Shake-up

It appears that some San Francisco Bay area radio listeners are just as loyal, or more loyal, to their favorite KNBR 680 AM host as they are to the San Francisco Giants.(See reader comments at the end of this story.)

While KNBR's Sports Phone 680 show has been handed to former big leaguer F.P. Santangelo, Giants fans who follow the 7-10 p.m. broadcast are up in arms over the move of host Damon Bruce to afternoons on the sister station KNBR 1050 AM.

Dozens of fans have used this space to criticize KNBR's decision to move Bruce to afternoons while moving Santangelo, who also handles some analysis duties on Giants broadcasts, into the prime-time slot.
