Dodgers-Mariners: Andre Ethier Goes Wild, LA Routes Seattle, 8-2

The Los Angeles Dodgers (48-26) defeated the visiting Seattle Mariners (37-36) 8-2 on Friday night at Dodger Stadium.

Andre Ethier broke out of a two-week slump by blasting three home runs for the Dodgers. Ethier has been hitting .174 in his past 13 games.

In the second inning, Ethier took Mariners starter Justin Vargas (3-3) deep for a three-run home run that put the Dodgers in the lead 3-0.

He added another in the sixth with a two-run laser that made the game 7-2 in favor of the Blue Crew.

The evening culminated with a third shot, this time a solo shot into the bullpen beyond the right field wall in the bottom of the eighth.
