Mike Trout: Angels Rookie Has Multiple MVP Awards in His Future
Choosing between Mike Trout and Miguel Cabrera is like choosing between steak and lobster.
That's how I feel when when picking an American League MVP this season.
On the one hand, Cabrera has a legitimate shot at winning the Triple Crown for the first time since Carl Yastrzemski won it in 1967. He's hitting .327 with 43 homers and 136 RBI, and most of his advanced statistics are just as sparkling.
It's hard to deny someone like that the MVP award.
But for as good as Cabrera is a hitter, Trout is just as good of a player....
