MLB Trade Finalized: San Diego Padres’ Mike Adams Dealt to Texas Rangers
It is official, the San Diego Padres have traded RHP Mike Adams to the Texas Rangers. In return, San Diego receives prospect pitchers Robbie Erlin and Joe Wieland from the Rangers.
Adams has left San Diego and joins other recent addition, Koji Uehara. The Rangers have made deals to make their bullpen one of the best in the A.L.
Mike Adams, who is 33, is under contract until the 2012 offseason. He currently has a 1.13 ERA and is one of the best set-up men in the game.
