The Detroit Tigers: What I Would Do

There has been a bit of chatter about the Tigers in the media lately following Mike Ilitch’s statement that he is ready to spend some money.

The Tigers current payroll is right around $115 million. Last year it was near the $140 million mark, so they have spent less. However, they are also drawing less fans.

Anyway, it’s not my money, so what do I care?  If Ilitch wants to spend more money and wants to make this team better he should okay the following moves:
