San Francisco Giants: Avoid Arbitration, Ink Ryan Vogelsong to Multi-Year Deal

According to a tweet from 95.7 FM, The Game’s Mychael Urban of the San Francisco Giants has avoided arbitration with right-handed pitcher Ryan Vogelsong. They have signed him to a two-year contract with a club option for a third year in 2014.

Terms of the agreement have not yet been made public, but Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports says it’s $8 million for two years. The Associated Press, meanwhile, reports the contract values at $8.3 million for two years.
