2010 NBA Draft Results: Baylor Forward Ekpe Udoh Selected No. 6 by Golden State
The Kentucky Wildcats weren’t the only team to make history on draft night 2010.
With Ekpe Udoh being selected by the Golden State Warriors at No. 6 on Thursday night, June 24, the Baylor forward/center became the highest draft pick to ever don a green and gold Bears jersey in Waco, Texas.
On a side note, and for those unaware, the Wildcats made history on Thursday night when five Kentucky players were selected in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft.
But I digress—back to Baylor.
Udoh became the highest draft pick in the history of Baylor Basketball on Thursday night when David Stern announced his name as the No. 6 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
And there was excitement all around for Udoh, his family, and the Baylor family as well.
