Is Kobe Bryant the Best Ever?

The Lakers won the NBA finals and Kobe Bryant has now five rings, one away from Michael Jordan's six.

Kobe is bound to be a basketball legend, something Jordan already is, which brings up the question: Who is better, Kobe or Jordan?

Suns coach Alvin Gentry puts both of them in the same category, after he lost to the Lakers he asked "Was it Kobe or Michael (Jordan)?" he added, "I couldn't tell the difference. It was a great performance. We did everything we could."

Gentry also categorized Kobe as "the best basketball player" nowadays, calling him "an assassin" after the Lakers won the series.
