No longer will Lakers fans enjoy the sight of Phil Jackson sitting on the sidelines during games. Mike Brown is the new captain in town, and most fans aren’t convinced he is the right man for the job. While I tend to agree with them, I am all for giving Brown a fair shot before maligning him too much.

But I couldn’t resist doing a little tongue-in-cheek piece on five reasons why Mike Brown is an improvement over Phil Jackson as coach of the Lakers.
