LA Lakers To Re-sign Shannon Brown, Tracy McGrady No Longer an Option

With veteran guard Raja Bell spurning the Lakers to play for the Utah Jazz, the Lakers have decided to extend a multi-year contract offer to guard Shannon Brown.

Shannon Brown's agent Mark Bartelstein indicated that the guard will likely accept the Lakers' offer after receiving unappealing offers from other teams, including Utah and Indiana.
