Trevor Ariza or Lamar Odom? The Great Debate

The free agent class of 2009 is greatly overshadowed by the star-studded LeBron James, Dwayne Wade class of 2010, but for the Lakers, this offseason is heating up and becoming a pivotal time for a team looking to compete for back-to-back championships.

With Shaquille O'Neal getting shipped to Cleveland and Vince Carter finding a home in Orlando, not to mention Kevin Garnett’s return to the Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers are going to have a tough time winning back-to-back titles.

The road to the finals will be tough next year, as a young, rearing Portland team gets another year of experience under their belts and an already well experienced San Antonio adds more fire power in Richard Jefferson. That should give much-needed aid to the Spurs big three.
