Lakers-Suns: Kobe Bryant’s Air Ball Leads to Lakers Victory

That must be a head-scratcher in Phoenix, and maybe even L.A., as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns in a pivotal Game Five. With just over a second remaining in the game, Artest caught an errant Kobe Bryant air ball and banked in a five-footer for the win.
This followed a barrage of offensive rebounds the Suns grabbed off three three-pointers, the last of which was banked in by Jason Richardson to tie the game, 101-101.
At the other end of the court, Artest was able to squeeze by Richardson, who failed to box him out, and score the winning bucket with no one on him as the buzzer sounded.
