Los Angeles Lakers: Where Are They Now? Catching Up with Mark Madsen
There hasn't been an athlete in the history of sports that's more famous for what he did during a championship parade than on the playing field.
That is, except if your name is Mark Madsen, of course.
Mad Dog Madsen was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2000 NBA draft and played sparingly during his rookie season. The Lakers won their second straight title that season and during the victory parade, Madsen started dancing on the podium, thus establishing his legacy forever.
Madsen's jig during that season's parade and the next made him known as "the white guy who danced during the Lakers' title victory."
