The NBA is full of millionaires and the exorbitant size of some player contracts are mind boggling.

For teams to be competitive, they have to shell out the dough for players they hope will pan out, but there are no guarantees.

Some players get injured, others were overvalued in the first place, while others are just plain lazy freeloaders. 

But there are also players who deserve their pay check, because they have both the talent and the heart to help their team's win.

Here is a list of the 30 highest paid players in the NBA during the 2010-11 NBA season.
