A Done Deal: Redskins Trade QB Jason Campbell to the Oakland Raiders
This just keeps getting better!
NFL network analyst Jason LaCamfora and ESPN's Adam Schefter are reporting that the front offices of the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins have worked out a trade that will bring Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell to Oakland.
The deal will send Campbell to Oakland for "undisclosed future draft pick". The Raiders have also re-signed Campbell to a contract extension that will keep him in Oakland through at least 2011.
This trade has been speculated about constantly since Washington acquired Donovan McNabb from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month.
This makes a lot of sense for all parties involved.
