Alex Smith 7.0: Why Will This Year Be Any Different for the Infamous QB?

By default and by lockout, Alex Smith is apparently close to becoming the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers again. How and why he continues to do it, I don't know, but the guy should be in politics. Anyone who can be that bad at their job for that long and still hold the position, would fit in great with Congress.  

So what does this mean for Smith?

It means he is going to have to play great. Not good, but great. A task I think he is incapable of.
