Probably the best quarterback ever to come out of Nevada, Kaepernick was a two-time WAC Offensive Player of the Year and is the only player in the history of college football history to rush for 4,000 yards and throw for 9,000 yards.

The 6'5", 233-pound Kaepernick has a huge, accurate arm combined with great athleticism. A dual threat with his arm and legs as an amateur—he became just the 10th quarterback in NCAA history to record back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons—Kaepernick could take some time feeling at home in a pro-style offense.
