Donald Butler, the Chargers’ Third-Round Pick, To Miss 2010 Season
It didn't take long for the injury bug to bite this season for the San Diego Chargers, as rookie inside linebacker Donald Butler will miss the entire season after sustaining an injury during Tuesday's practice at Chargers Park.
According to reports last night from Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune , Butler who was the Chargers third-round pick in the draft, injured his ankle and was carted off the field.
After a further examination of the injury, it appears that Butler sustained an injury to his Achilles tendon and will miss the entire 2010 season, according to Chargers.com.
This does not look well for the Chargers who were looking to Butler to help bolster the linebacker corps.
