With eight weeks to go in the season, let's take a look at my pick for NFL MVP.

This may be a tie between Peyton Manning and Phillip Rivers. It really is too tough to call as of right now.

Peyton has the Colts at 5-3 despite injuries to Austin Collie, Anthony Gonzalez, Pierre Garcon (for the majority of the year), Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai.
