Tim Lincecum, the Freak
Tim Lincecum is a freak. Lincecum is 5'11", and 160 pounds, yet he is a freak when he is on the mound.
Lincecum was drafted by the San Francisco Giants as the 10th overall pick in the first round. His first season with the Giants in 2007, he was 7-5 with a 4.00 ERA, and recorded 150 strikeouts. The next season, he won the Cy Young, went 18-5 with a 2.62 ERA, and recorded 265 strikeouts. In 2008, he pitched two complete games, and one shutout.
This season, Lincecum is showing that he is even better. He is currently 8-2 with a 2.37 ERA, and has 132 strikeouts. Plus, he already has three complete games, and two shutouts.
